In a long-time-coming episode, Alex and Jonathan talk about the two existing film adaptations of Elmore Leonard’s short western story ‘3:10 to Yuma’: 3:10 to Yuma (1957) and 3:10 to Yuma (2007). We discuss differences and similarities in the story between the two, ways the two films indicate changing cinematic sensibilities over fifty years, and how to respectfully remake existing material.
